GIRO DELL’EMILIA

First raced in 1909 Giro dell’Emilia forms part of the Autumn classics races in Italy. A women’s race, Giro dell'Emilia Internazionale Donne Elite, was added in 2014. The race is renowned for the iconic San Luca climb past a terracotta shaded portico of more than 600 arches on its way up to the Sanctuary of San Luca in Bologna.
